GRAS-Di® Genotyping

What is GRAS-Di®?

GRAS-Di® is an advanced genotyping technology developed by Toyota Motor Corporation.
It leverages next-generation sequencing (NGS) to create a library of tens of thousands of amplicons using two rounds of PCR with high-concentration random primers and sequence adapter regions.
This innovative method supports genotyping not only with reference genomes but also with a proprietary algorithm that allows genotyping of organisms with unknown genomes or complex polyploidy.

* GRAS-Di® is a registered trademark of Toyota Motor Corporation.
* HSS offers licensed GRAS-Di® services under agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation.

Features of GRAS-Di®

・Exceptional reproducibility of amplicon amplification

・Minimal missing data in genotyping results
