This is the custom monoclonal antibody production service provided by Hokudo Co., Ltd.

Two methods are available. One is the conventional cell fusion method (PEG method) using myeloma cell line (SP2) and splenic B cells, and the other is the iliac node method which enables to obtain monoclonal antibody in shorter period than the conventional method.

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody Production

Please prepare for an antigen sample, and the works from immunization to hybridoma production will be performed.

Step 1 (immunization)	Four mouses (BALB/c) are immunized, and the antibody value will be measured by ELISA test respectively. One of the immunized mouses with a good antibody value will be used for cell fusion.	from 8 weeks	In case that the antibody value does not increase, the price is 160,000 JPY (tax exclusive).
Step 2 (cell fusion ~ screening)	Cell fusion is performed by PEG method for myeloma cell line (SP2) and splenic B cells. Screening will be performed in HAT medium to select positive hybridomas (20 strains at the maximum). Only when no positive hybridoma is found in the first cell fusion, the second cell fusion and screening will be performed.	from 3 weeks	In case that no positive hybridoma is found in the screening, the price will be 600,000 JPY (tax exclusive).
Step 3 (cloning ~ clone production)	Cloning will be performed by limiting dilution method using the maximum 5 positive hybridomas. Using 1 clone from the cloned hybridoma strains, ascites are collected from 5 mouses (BALB/c). 2 tubes of freeze preserved cell will be made and delivered per 1 clone.	from 12 weeks	–

The amount of the ascites to be collected will be differed depend on individual mouses.

Please note that produced hybridoma strains are not always different clones to each other due to the nature of the product.

Please send your hybridoma strain to us, and we will culture the cell and administer it to mouses to collect ascites.

■ Rat iliac node method
In monoclonal antibody production by iliac node method, clone strains can be delivered in shorter period compared to the method using mouse splenic B cells.

This is a rat monoclonal antibody production service using iliac node method. Clones can be obtained in shorter period compared to the mouse monoclonal antibody production.
